The Kirkland Horn
This horn was done for a friend of mine in Wyoming. It was one of the first nudes I did. Otherwise he picked all of the elements and we went for a more free form approach to placement on the horn.

The Kirkland Horn
The butt plug is walnut faceted into a hexagon and inlaid with silver wire. There is a band engraved in a vine motif around the throat and base. I liked the look of the neck and spout so I didn’t dye this one.
-
Suns
He had asked for a couple of suns on the horn as well as a verse he supplied which says: “with the warm sun upon my face and compass in hand tells the way to find comfort in my lovers arms.”
-
Lettering
We chose a sort of flowing font for the lettering.

Nude
I had drawn a more robust nude and sent the client a sketch. He came back asking for something a little more modern and sent me a photograph as an example. She is on the inside curve of this horn.
